1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Habitude, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Habitude is a habit tracking application that allows users to create habits, track daily completions, view contribution graphs, earn badges, and connect with other users through social features.

3. User Accounts

  • You must sign in with a valid Google account to use Habitude
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must provide a unique username that follows our naming guidelines (lowercase letters, numbers, and underscores, 3-30 characters)
  • You may not impersonate another person or use an offensive username

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Abuse, harass, or send unwanted nudges to other users
  • Attempt to access other users' private data
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
  • Automate interactions with the service without permission

5. Content

You retain ownership of the data you create (habits, completions, profile information). By using social features, you grant Habitude a license to display your public profile information and activity to other users according to your privacy settings.

6. Service Availability

We strive to keep Habitude available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Habitude and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to data loss.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at our discretion if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be deleted.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
